• Is the etch permanent?

Yes, all Lacuna mirrors are etched on the reverse to make cleaning easy. We don’t use screen-printing, which wears over time.

• Can I use my Lumen mirror above a sink in a bathroom?

Yes, Lumen mirrors are IP44 rated, which means they are suitable for use in bathroom zone 2. However they are not rated for a high humidity environment like a sauna. 

• Can I have a custom design?

• How much do they weigh?

It depends on size and materials used, weight in order of increasing weight is… acrylic, glass, acrylic Lumen, glass Lumen.
The weight of an acrylic Lumen mirror can be approximated by saying 1m2 = 12.7kg. So the Lumen mirror ‘Sarah’ (0.6m x 0.8m) weights approximately 6kg.

• How do the Lumen mirrors plug in?

There are two options. Freestanding, which uses a cable and transformer to plug into a wall socket. Or wall hanging, which uses a transformer built into the back of the mirror that can be wired directly into the wall.

• Do they come in any other colours?

Yes, the mirrors can be scaled to custom dimensions, as long as they do not exceed the maximum dimensions of 1200mm x 900mm.

• How long does it take to make my mirror?

Regular Lacuna mirrors aim to be processed and dispatched within 2 weeks. Custom designs may take longer depending on the design.

• How will my mirror be delivered?

We use a courier service to ensure that your mirror arrives quickly and in mint condition. You will be notified when your mirror has been dispatched.
