Spirit of the season
A reimagining of the festive season. This collection deconstructs the traditional icons of Christmas: the star, wreath, candle, tree, cracker, candy cane, bauble and bell, into bold mid-century motifs, constructed from a trinity of contrasting wood species including, Wenge, Ash and Flame Mahogany. By embracing an abstract, graphical aesthetic, these pieces transcend the calendar, offering a sophisticated presence that feels at home in your interior long after the winter frost has thawed. No longer bound by the attic, they are year-round statements of style.
This seasonal series features precision mitred vertical edges, hand gilded to capture every passing glow. An intentional shadow gap at the base creates the illusion of suspension, giving these vessels a weightless, almost angelic quality.
The gift that keeps on giving
Furoshiki are traditional Japanese square wrapping cloths, used for eco-friendly stylish gift wrapping. As the cloths are reusable they act as a sustainable alternative to paper.
The Present box selection is my version of this tradition. For those special occasions that need something extra, such as an engagement, wedding or milestone birthday, why not use one to present your present.

This most generous round box measures approximately 21cm in diameter and 8cm high, offering a beautiful home for your most cherished items. Whether it’s used as a dedicated jewelry or watch box, a refined sewing kit, or a sophisticated desk organizer, it brings a sense of calm order to any space.
Inside, you’ll find the signature solid cork dividers. These are designed to be as flexible as your life; they can be easily moved or removed entirely, allowing the internal space to evolve alongside your collection.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the collection Limited Edition?
No. The Christmas collection is not limited, but each year there will be a limited number of boxes produced. If you like a design and it’s in stock, best to get it early.
What materials are used in the series?
This collection is a mix of printed designs and natural woods. The wood species vary with each design but most of the designs comprise of natural sustainably sourced unstained veneers. Specific wood species will be listed for each design in the product description section of the shop. The printed boxes will be labelled in the product description and materials used sections.
How are the boxes finished?
The marquetry boxes are finished with shellac to give them a rich glassy surface that brings out the beauty of the wood. To find out more click the button below.
The printed boxes are finished with a water based varnish and wax to bring out the colours and protect the surface.
How should I look after my box?
