The Insect Collection
Featuring a fine selection of beetles, bugs and creepy crawlies this selection celebrates the beauty of Entomology and the lesser celebrated jewels of the natural world.
Why Beetles?
I’ve always been fascinated by the quiet parallels in nature, specifically the striking visual connection between the flowing grain of timber and the intricate segmentation of a beetle’s shell. To me, this represents a beautiful symbiosis; a reminder of the harmony found in our natural world.
The series began life as a gift for a dear friend, but the process sparked something deeper. I discovered a love for creating delicate, illustrative constructions that celebrate fine detail without ever losing sight of the raw, organic beauty of wood. My goal is to create high-end, detailed pieces that feel both sculptural and functional, I believe this collection achieves this in an elegant and original way.
