Insect Collection
The collection that started it all. What began as a gift for a beloved friend, has grown into a passion and new career. Inspired by the beauty of bugs and woodgrain, this collection will forever hold a place in my heart.
Art Deco Collection
Inspired by one of my favourite design movements and periods in history, the Art Deco collection brings me so much joy to design, make and showcase. The act of creation is never easy but when the results look and feel this good, I know I’m doing it right.
Adventure Collection
From Indiana Jones to Tin Tin, Lara Croft to Mary Read, I have been inspired by adventure and all it’s potential from a very young age. Watching the Goonies and playing Monkey Island as a child, filled my imagination and gifted me a passion for the possible. This collection is my attempt to distil that glorious feeling into a set of physical artifacts.
Egyptian Collection
What started life as a commission for a friend, quickly developed into the beginnings of this collection. Once I stated working with Abalone and discovered it’s captivating beauty first hand, I knew I would develop designs to showcase this mesmerising material. I don’t know how many designs will be in this collection, but I can’t wait to make them all.
Myths & Legends Collection
Stories of the past have always been an inspiration for me. They contain a great deal of knowledge, wisdom and humanity, steeped into them over many generations. Before the written word existed, valuable life lessons were shared at the fireside. Some were fact, some were fiction, but the impact on culture is, and has been, very real. This collection is an attempt to continue that tradition in a different form.
Gothic Collection
Architecture has always been one of my greatest interests. For me the gothic period exemplifies what can be achieved when people choose to make things beautiful. From the mathematical geometry of tracery, to Pugin’s understanding of modular components in design, there are many valuable lessons I have learned. This collection is a celebration of those lessons as well as it’s impressive aesthetic.
Contemporary Collection
Looking to the past for inspiration is fine, but it’s also important to pay attention to the zeitgeist. Knowing the current trends in design, fashion and culture help guide any creative. Knowing what not to do, is as important as knowing what should come next. This collection aims to be timelessly stylish and made for today. Suitable accessories that won’t look out of place in any home.
Minimal Collection
Less is more. this collection strips back all the distractions, so the wood can speak for itself. Additional design choices have been added to compliment rather than dominate the end result. Subtle, soulful, simple.
Secret Garden Collection
I am very lucky to have a beautiful garden, and it brings me unexpected joy every time I interact with it. But it didn’t always look like it does now. Years of work, tinkering and tending have transformed a rather unloved space into a haven for wildlife. This collection was designed to be a rustic yet charming practical storage solution, for seeds, bulbs and small tools.
Christmas Collection
This collection is a response to a design challenge laid down by a good friend. After complaining that “Christmas today is full of plastic tat that breaks and just ends up in landfill”, I was given the gauntlet and told “well you’re a designer, what would you do?” Having never given it a thought before, I set to work and this collection is the result.
